BRHMO SAMJ

BRHMO SAMJ
a HINDU reform movement founded by RAM MOHAN RAY in 1828. It developed a UNITARIAN THEOLOGY influenced by British UTILITARIANISM and was strongly opposed to such things as TEMPLE CULTS, SUTTEE and the CASTE system.
