BRADLEY, Francis Herbert
(1846-1924)
   English philosopher and advocate of ABSOLUTE IDEALISM who opposed UTILITARIANISM. His book Appearance and Reality (1893) has been described as the most original English work on METAPHYSICS in the nineteenth century.
