BLOCH, Ernst
(1880-1959)
   German MARXIST philosopher whose work strongly influenced Jürgen MÖLTMANN and Harvey Cox. His major works are The Spirit of Utopia (1918) and Thomas Munzer as Theologian of Revolution (1921).
